You will be picked up from your hotel by your driver and start Kigali City Tour. Kigali City tour will introduce you to the capital of the land of Thousand Hills, Rwanda, will do so by visiting museums, markets and city sighting. Drive to Kigali Genocide Memorial, visit Inema Arts Center, sighting to Kacyiru administrative areas. Drive to Kimironko Market and experience local shopping for fruits, vegetables, clothes and handcrafts. You will also make a visit to Umusambi Village for Cranes and different bird species viewing, before driving to Camp Kigali Memorial & Kandt House.

After breakfast, you will transfer from Kigali to Akagera National Park via Kigali. On arrival at the park, we shall proceed to our accommodation. We order lunch and later take a boat trip on Lake Ihema to watch Hippos and crocodiles in the water or by the shores.

Enjoy early morning breakfast and start your game drives in an open-roofed vehicle. A full-day game drive here offers you an opportunity to spot a variety of game including elephants, buffalos, hippos, lions, Masai giraffe, gazelles, impala, baboons, oribi, Butchel’s zebra, topi, bush baby, leopard, and bushbuck, etc. Proceed for an evening game drive after lunch. Return to your lodge for dinner. 

After breakfast, we will drive to the Kivu Belt Road for lunch, rest, and entertainment. Here, boat riding is an incredible experience. Lake Kivu is the most beautiful lake in Africa and has a splendid view colored by its thousand green islands.

Early in the morning, we will sit in a boat and follow Lake Kivu's local fishermen who will show us how they use traditional Techniques of trapping fish. The small fish called Sambaza make a daily sauce for Karongi citizens. Very tasty and healthy. We should try them. After lunch, we will drive through the Congo Nile crest and take the road to Musanze.

After breakfast, report to the park headquarters for your first experience of the endangered species in the Volcanoes National Park. The golden monkey trek is normally an easy trek that takes 1-2 hours.  You will later visit the Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. These magnificent twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo and their swamp of Rugezi are excellent photogenic, serene, and scenic places for Bird watching activity.

This morning, after breakfast, we will immerse ourselves in the Rwandan culture with a visit to the Rocks Cultural Village. Here, we will be able to explore local factories, taste local cuisine, learn traditional dance moves, and witness the expert weaving of the Intore. The "Intore" are known for their incredible ability to jump over heights of 2m and the Warriors Dance is a must-see for those looking to explore the choreographic heritage of Rwanda. With colorful sisal fiber costumes and jingling bells on each step, the Warriors Dance is a thrilling rhythm, with physical confrontation turning into an artistic rivalry and ultimately ending in a vigorous hug of friendship, mutual aid, and protection. We will also be taken through a traditional Rwandan wedding and practices, giving us a glimpse into the long-standing lifestyle of the Rwandan people. Additionally, for those interested, a Gorilla Trekking can be arranged in Volcanoes National Park, for an extra cost of US$1,500.00 per person (not included in the tour price). Please note that Gorilla Trekking is only available to those aged 15 and above.
