Arrive in Istanbul
Fly from Entebbe to Istanbul. A driver meets you and transfers you to your hotel in Sultanahmet, the historic old city. In the evening walk to Sultanahmet Square to see the Blue Mosque lit up.

DAY2
Old City highlights
With your guide visit Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern and Topkapı Palace. Dress modestly for mosques and note that visiting times can change around prayer times.
DAY3
Bosphorus cruise and bazaars
Start at the Spice Bazaar in Eminönü, then take a Bosphorus cruise between Europe and Asia, passing palaces and fortresses. In the afternoon browse the Grand Bazaar (closed on Sundays) and finish at Galata Tower for sunset views.
DAY4
Fly to Cappadocia
Morning domestic flight to Cappadocia (about 1 hour 20 minutes), followed by a transfer of around an hour to your cave hotel in Göreme or Uçhisar. Afternoon at leisure. Watch sunset from a viewpoint over the fairy chimneys.
DAY5
Cappadocia tour
Full-day tour: the rock churches of Göreme Open-Air Museum, Paşabağ fairy chimneys, Devrent Valley, a pottery workshop in Avanos and Derinkuyu underground city, where whole communities once sheltered.
DAY6
Hot-air balloon (optional) and free day
Optional sunrise balloon flight (extra cost, about 1 hour, weather dependent, pick-up before dawn). After breakfast enjoy a free day: walk Love Valley, try a Turkish hammam or shop for carpets and ceramics.
DAY7
Fly home
Transfer to Kayseri or Nevşehir airport for the flight to Istanbul and your onward journey to Entebbe.
