DAY1

Arrive in Cape Town

Fly from Entebbe to Cape Town (connection via Johannesburg or Nairobi is included). A driver meets you and takes you to your hotel near the V&A Waterfront. Dinner at the waterfront.

Table Mountain and the City Bowl

Ride the cable car up Table Mountain (weather permitting; it closes in strong wind), then explore the city centre, Company's Garden and the colourful Bo-Kaap.

DAY3

Cape Peninsula day

A full-day drive down the Cape Peninsula: Hout Bay, the Chapman's Peak scenic road, the penguins at Boulders Beach and Cape Point.

Winelands or free day

Choose a Stellenbosch or Franschhoek wine tasting day trip, or keep the day free for the waterfront and shopping.

Fly to Kruger

Morning flight to the Kruger region (Hoedspruit or Nelspruit airport, via Johannesburg), then a transfer to your safari lodge. Afternoon game drive in an open vehicle.

DAY6

Big game drives

An early-morning and a late-afternoon game drive with a ranger. Kruger is home to the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino. Sightings are never guaranteed, but the park is famous for them.

Bush walk and wildlife

A guided game drive at dawn, a free midday by the pool, then a sunset drive. Some lodges offer guided bush walks with an armed ranger, arranged on request.

DAY8

Final game drive

One last early-morning drive, with the chance to look for cheetah and elephant herds, then a relaxed afternoon before dinner at the lodge.

Fly home

Breakfast, then a transfer to the airport and a flight via Johannesburg for your flight back to Entebbe.
